Honor

I think all of us here can agree on one thing and that is that God is our Father. I talked about that a few Wednesdays ago. The bible says that we should Honor our Father its one of the TEN Commandments found in Exodus 20:12 "HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER, THAT YOUR DAYS MAYBE LONG UPON THE LAND WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS GIVEN YOU." this is also the first commandment with promise as it says in Ephians 6:1-3 "HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER WHICH IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT WITH PROMISE, " THAT IT MAYBE WELL WITH YOU AND YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH."
I know this is mostly talking about our earthly parents but the same goes for Father God we should Honor Him in all we do.
Are you honoring the Father? Are you Honoring Him in Everything you do? The Father wants us to honor Him in all we do so that He can bless us. He says in Malachi 1:6 " A SON HONORS HIS FATHER AND A SERVANT HIS MASTER. IF I AM THE FATHER WHERE IS MY HONOR? AND IF I AM THE MASTER WHERE IS MY REVERENCE? " One of the ways we can honor the Father is to tithe.
Tithing is not just giving money. When Abraham gave the fist tithe in Genesis 14 18-20 he gave of everthing not just the money
Are you giving just what is convenient for you or are you giving in a way that Honors Him? Are you giving your best? He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son His best. You cant out give God but you can give in a way that Honors Him.
There in Malachi 1:6 as I mention a min ago it says a servant honors his master. God said in Luke 16:13 "NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS FOR EITHER HE WILL HATE ONE AND LOVE THE OTHER OR ELSE HE WILL BE LOYAL TO ONE AND DESPISE THE OTHER. YOU CAN NOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON ! " The word mammon is translated as money wealth and property . Do you serve God or mammon?
If your serving God you will use you mammon to further His kingdom by giving to His Church, if you serve mammon you will most likely be using it for your own pleasures to do what you want instead of what God wants. Jesus said in Matthew 6:19 - 21 to not lay up treasures here on earth but to lay them up in heaven " DO NOT LAY UP TREASURES ON EARTH WHERE MOTH AND RUST DESTROY AND WHERE THIEVES BREAK IN AND STEAL; BUT LAY UP FOR YOURSELF TREASURES IN HEAVEN , WHERE NETHER MOTH OR RUST DESTROY AND WHERE THIEVES DO NOT BREAK IN AND STEAL, FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO" Where is your heart ?
We should all try to live a life that is free from the love of money it says in Hebrews 13:5(NIV) " KEEP YOUR LIVES FREE FROM THE LOVE OF MONEY AND BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE , BECAUSE GOD HAS SAID NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU NEVER WILL I FORSAKE YOU" If you serve money it will leave you, it comes and goes but God reamins the same yeterday today and forever He will never leave you nor will he forsake you. He will provide everything you need.
If you serve money it can just like the enemy Steal Kill and Destroy. Jesus said that about Satan in John 10:10 "THE THIEF DOES NOT COME EXCEPT TO STEAL AND TO KILL AND TO DESTROY. I HAVE COME THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIFE AND THAT THEY MAY HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY." The love of money can destroy, kill and, steal. The love of God can give to you Abundantly He says in Luke 6:38 " GIVE AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU : GOOD MEASURE , PRESSED DOWN , SHAKEN TOGETHER, AND RUNNING OVER WILL BE PUT INTO YOUR BOSOM. FOR WITH THE SAME MEASURE THAT YOU USE IT WILL BE MEASURED BACK TO YOU." If you sow a samll seed you get a small return but as you are faithul to do so your seed will gorw to a harvest that is plentyful.
I was watching Kenneth Haggin the son on TV the other day and he explain it like this " if you have one Kernel of corn and you plant it one stock will grow and they say one good stock of corn will yield three ears of corn and that's say there is 351 kernels of corn on each ear Sometimes you have to start out small and then God will multiply it back to you by planting one seed you yielded 1053 kernels and if you plant two ears and keep one it will continue to multiply" this cleared it up for me I finally got what God was saying if I can just stay faithful to plant a seed I will reap a harvest that is beyond what I can imagine.

Many of you remember while growing up wanting something or needing something who would you turn to? Most likely you ran to mom or dad and asked them. Sometimes mom would say I don't know ask your dad, and sometimes dad would say ask your mom. Some of you can still run to mom and dad some of you can't, but we can all run to our Heavenly Father.
(Read from family Bible pg 1487 when kids ask)
Father God tells us several times in His word if you will ask He will give, John 14:14 " If you ask thing in My name (In Jesus Name) I will do it" , If you have a need all you have to do is ask the Father In Jesus' name and He will do it for you. It is that simple all we need is faith.
James 1: 6-8 AMP. "Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, doubtfull, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]."
You have to have faith when you ask the Father. We already know that He will do it if you ask in Jesus name because He said so in John 14:14 that I mentioned earlier. In Mark 11:24 " Therefore I say to you , whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
Matthew 7:7-11 " Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who ask receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who if his son asks for bread will give him a stone? Or if he ask for a fish will give him a serpent ? If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will you Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him."
We also need to be patiencet sometimes God will tell us to wait for His perfect timing. Phliipans 4:6-7 " Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will gurad your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus"
Aren't we glad that our Heavenly Father is so willing to give to us and all we have to do is ask and believe in our hearts that it is done. He'll never say I don't know and tell you to ask somewhere else.

What was the one thing you did when you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior? You changed your confession form death to eternal life, and that took faith and that faith came from hearing the word. Romans 10 :17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10: 8-9 "But what does it say? the word is near you in your mouth and in your heart (that is the word of faith which we preach), that if you CONFESS with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be saved." In doing this you have taken the first step in changing your confession.
( My change of confession started when I was about 8 years old in the Assembly of God church just down the road from here although I never really fully grasped the concept of what I was doing till about a year ago when My wife and I rededicated ourselves here at Liberty Church)
Romans 4:17 “As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations" in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; Let's focus mostly on the last part of this verse "God who gives life to the dead (that is when you become born again you were spiritually dead) and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." God wants us to have this kind of faith.

Mark 11:23-24 " For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Now I don't know what Mountains are in your life ,but God does. All you need to do is have faith and He will move those mountains for you. Change your confession from one that says "I'll never make it, this mountain is too high, its too wide, I cant do this", to one that says "Thank you God for moving this mountain so I can make it." You know God has no limits there is nothing He can't do. Nothing is too big for God, and He Lives in you, so you can say " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13
( One of my mountains is finances in my job it is really is to look at the lack and God has really opening my eyes to see that I don't have to live in the land of lack but I can live in the land of OVERFLOWING all I have to do is speak to my Mountain and have the bible kind of faith and believe that I am not lacking but I AM prosperous I need to change my confession about my finances. and so can any of you no matter what you mountain is if you will change your confession and have full trust (FAITH) in God those mountains will move)

The words that I ( JESUS) speak to you are spirit and they are life." It is important that we learn this we must change our confession for if we confess unbelief and fear and then we gain nothing, but if we confess life and belief then we will gain everything God has promised us in His word.
( because Jesus lives in us our words are life and when we speak things they become life. If you start you day With Jesus and confess a great day the day will go easy For His Burden is Light. But if you wake up grumpy and start out throwing your arms around and bo hoin saying man this day stinks it will. Monta and i have been starting our day at work with prayer and been confessing favor with our coworkers and with our customers and we have noticed a great increase in the number of people that have there work ready so our days are easier)
Psalm 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your Sight, O Lord my strength my Redeemer" Like David said our words we speak should be found pleasing in the sight of the Lord. God desires to see us thrive and be prosperous. If your confession is not pleasing to God then you are keeping yourself from the blessings He has for you, but when you change your confession, to one that pleases Him, towards any situation, you unleash God to do what He desires in your life.

The Lords Army

It was a couple of months ago that the God gave me this vision of : Two armies opposing each other. One was big and was made up of humans in a bright light, the other army was a little smaller and was made up of dry bones and they were in darkness. Every so often a beam of light would hit the dry bones and almost instantly they would be transformed to a person and be put into the light.
Now if you will turn with me to the book of Joel 2 : 28 it talks about how young men will have visions and old men will have dreams "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh Your sons and daughters shall prophecy, your old men shall dream dreams, and young men shall see visions"
The army of light (the first army) I believe is God's army composed of His people and each time the light would hit the dry bones I see that as a soul being saved, it is being brought out of the darkness and into the light, out of Satan's power and into God's light and power. Acts 26:18 says " To open their eyes in order to turn them from the power of Satan to God that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." Also in Ezekiel 37: 5-6 "Thus says the Lord God to these bones : Surely I will cause a breath to enter into you , and you shall live . I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you, and you shall live. Then you shall know that I AM the Lord." I think in these two verses God shows us how He is restoring His people and bringing them out of the darkness and putting them back together thru spiritual rebirth. Also I see that the Lord wants us to be like Ezekiel and go out and Prophecy to the dry bones of the world which is the non-belivers and also the church.
God is preparing us for a battle. He has given us armor to protect us. In Eph. 6:10-13 "Finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil, for we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against ,principalities, against powers against the rulers of darkness of this age against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand."
THE ARMOR
Grided wrist of truth - know the truth about God
A breast plate for righteousness - Have Jesus in you
Shod your feet - for standing strong on His word and to be prepared to use His word
A shield of Faith - to protect us From satans firey darts live by faith
A helmet of Salvation - Through Christ
The Sword of Spirit - is the word of God know it
We just need to be strong in Him and trust in Him but our time is short. Romans 13:11 - 12 "And do this knowing the time that now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now our salvation is nearer than we first believed. The night is far spent the day is at hand therefore let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light" Now think of it like this: The time is near we are in the 11th hour. Wake up and spread the word to the dry bones, shake off the devil and put on Christ. Tell the world about The Light.
Eph 5:14 " Therefore He says: Awake you who sleep, Arise from the dead and Christ will give you light" Wake up ,rise up and Christ will Give you the Light to see the way he has prepared for you. Eph. 5:8 "For you were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light" We were all once in the darkness and couldn't see the way, but now we are saved, born again, out of darkness, because at some point in our lives some one showed us the light and now we walk as children of light in the Lord . God has given us a misson Church to go out and spread the word of His light to the valley of dry bones (The world and the Church). So my Questions to you today are, Will you be accused of hiding your light? Will you get to the gates of heaven and be asked Why did you hide me? Or will you go out and shine your light in the dark places so others may see CHRIST in you. Matthew 10: 32-33 "Therefore whoever confesses me before men, him I will confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will deny before My Father who is in heaven."

It was a couple of months ago that the God gave me this vision of : Two armies opposing each other. One was big and was made up of humans in a bright light, the other army was a little smaller and was made up of dry bones and they were in darkness. Every so often a beam of light would hit the dry bones and almost instantly they would be transformed to a person and be put into the light.
Now if you will turn with me to the book of Joel 2 : 28 it talks about how young men will have visions and old men will have dreams "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh Your sons and daughters shall prophecy, your old men shall dream dreams, and young men shall see visions"
The army of light (the first army) I believe is God's army composed of His people and each time the light would hit the dry bones I see that as a soul being saved, it is being brought out of the darkness and into the light, out of Satan's power and into God's light and power. Acts 26:18 says " To open their eyes in order to turn them from the power of Satan to God that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." Also in Ezekiel 37: 5-6 "Thus says the Lord God to these bones : Surely I will cause a breath to enter into you , and you shall live . I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you, and you shall live. Then you shall know that I AM the Lord." I think in these two verses God shows us how He is restoring His people and bringing them out of the darkness and putting them back together thru spiritual rebirth. Also I see that the Lord wants us to be like Ezekiel and go out and Prophecy to the dry bones of the world which is the non-belivers and also the church.
God is preparing us for a battle. He has given us armor to protect us. In Eph. 6:10-13 "Finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil, for we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against ,principalities, against powers against the rulers of darkness of this age against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand."
THE ARMOR
Grided wrist of truth - know the truth about God
A breast plate for righteousness - Have Jesus in you
Shod your feet - for standing strong on His word and to be prepared to use His word
A shield of Faith - to protect us From satans firey darts live by faith
A helmet of Salvation - Through Christ
The Sword of Spirit - is the word of God know it
We just need to be strong in Him and trust in Him but our time is short. Romans 13:11 - 12 "And do this knowing the time that now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now our salvation is nearer than we first believed. The night is far spent the day is at hand therefore let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light" Now think of it like this: The time is near we are in the 11th hour. Wake up and spread the word to the dry bones, shake off the devil and put on Christ. Tell the world about The Light.
Eph 5:14 " Therefore He says: Awake you who sleep, Arise from the dead and Christ will give you light" Wake up ,rise up and Christ will Give you the Light to see the way he has prepared for you. Eph. 5:8 "For you were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light" We were all once in the darkness and couldn't see the way, but now we are saved, born again, out of darkness, because at some point in our lives some one showed us the light and now we walk as children of light in the Lord . God has given us a misson Church to go out and spread the word of His light to the valley of dry bones (The world and the Church).
