40 Scriptures

For his Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and tells us that we really are God’s children. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has saved you from your enemies. For he has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who bought our freedom with his blood and forgave us all our sins. Because of his kindness, you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves; it too is a gift from God. So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. There was a time when some of you were just like that but now your sins are washed away, and you are set apart for God; and he has accepted you because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you.
When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun! And by that same mighty power he has given us all the other rich and wonderful blessings he promised; for instance, the promise to save us from the lust and rottenness all around us, and to give us his own character. But Christ has bought us out from under the doom of that impossible system by taking the curse for our wrongdoing upon himself. For it is written in the Scripture, “Anyone who is hanged on a tree is cursed” (as Jesus was hung upon a wooden cross). For he has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go. And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for us. Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.
Last of all I want to remind you that your strength must come from the Lord’s mighty power within you. for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power. And since we are his children, we will share his treasures—for all God gives to his Son Jesus is now ours too. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. But Christ has bought us out from under the doom of that impossible system by taking the curse for our wrongdoing upon himself. For it is written in the Scripture, “Anyone who is hanged on a tree is cursed” (as Jesus was hung upon a wooden cross). Now God can bless the Gentiles, too, with this same blessing he promised to Abraham; and all of us as Christians can have the promised Holy Spirit through this faith. These are the blessings that will come upon you: Blessings in the city, Blessings in the field; Many children,Ample crops,Large flocks and herds;Blessings of fruit and bread;Blessings when you come in,Blessings when you go out.
And what is it that God has said? That he has given us eternal life and that this life is in his Son. So whoever has God’s Son has life; whoever does not have his Son, does not have life. How we praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every blessing in heaven because we belong to Christ. He personally carried the load of our sins in his own body when he died on the cross so that we can be finished with sin and live a good life from now on. For his wounds have healed ours! And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you!
If you will only listen and obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, he will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall always have the upper hand. but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever doors you lock on earth shall be locked in heaven; and whatever doors you open on earth shall be open in heaven!” They defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony; for they did not love their lives but laid them down for him.
Dear young friends, you belong to God and have already won your fight with those who are against Christ because there is someone in your hearts who is stronger than any evil teacher in this wicked world. So we do not look at what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. We know these things are true by believing, not by seeing. I use God’s mighty weapons, not those made by men, to knock down the devil’s strongholds. These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts’ desire is obedience to Christ.
And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy—the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you. But whatever I am now it is all because God poured out such kindness and grace upon me—and not without results: for I have worked harder than all the other apostles, yet actually I wasn’t doing it, but God working in me, to bless me. For God took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then, in exchange, he poured God’s goodness into us! Follow God’s example in everything you do just as a much loved child imitates his father.
You are the world’s light—a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and.

Dreams of Africa

I had a dream a few months ago that I had went to Africa to be a missionary. While I was there I was in the midst of a crowd and I was praying for this woman she had a problem with alcohol. I saw many demons leave her and after a lot of prayer she went out under the power of the Holy Ghost. The next night of the crusade she came and gave a testimony of how she had not had a drink the whole day and that she knew God had saved her.

El Tuma Nicaragua

Well its been a few weeks since we have returned form El Tuma. We had a great time. When we got to Nicaragua we meet a guy named Moses, he was a funny guy and a hard worker,  he reminded me a lot of my dad. They are both truck drivers,  have about the same build physcially, and are around the same age. Little did I know the plan God had for me there, I will get back to that in second.  Our first night there I was so tired that I don't even remember getting off the bus. When they took us to our rooms, we stayed at an old orphanage, we saw that we had bunk beds and I saw that there was no air conditioner.  I went for a top bunk because they had fans on the walls and I fell right to sleep. Around 530 that morning I decided to flip over and when I did I fell through, now the guy that was in the bottom bunk had gotten up just a few minutes before I fell, and I landed on my feet. I went ahead a stayed up and read my Bible a little and then got ready for  the day.  Later that day I was trying to get in the room and I broke the door handle, I was felt pretty bad at this point for breaking so much. I was told through its really common for things to break there. Well fast forward to the first church service,  Pastor Glenda, and Pastor Reed preached.  Pastor Reed is very bold in her way of preaching, which I think is awesome, and she heard from God and called me up to give my testimony. I was nervous even though I had told my testimony many times,  my flesh got in the way and for a moment I almost didn't tell because I was afraid people there would not accept me after they heard what I had done.  I went on and told my testimony of how before Jesus I was a bad man and how I use to beat my wife. Then I told them how my wife left me and for 40 days I struggled with demons, but thankfully I had a coworker that invited me to church and I went gave my life back to Jesus and git my family back and we are all serving God now.  The next night Pastor Carole taught, then she did alter call and several people came up including Moses. I went up to help pray for people as I prayed for a few I felt the Holy Ghost pulling to go and lift up the hands of Moses, I got over there and lifted one arm and told my brother in Christ to get the other one.  When we did that Moses went out in the spirit, when he got back up I felt lead to hug him and we hugged for a minute or so.  The next morning at breakfast Moses shared how at service when we came over and held his arms up he had never done that before and when I hugged him he felt love like love from a father. Moses is 49 years old and had never felt a father's love,  that was sad to me.  Most of the kids there grow up without ever knowing their dads. I thought it was awesome at the same time that God used me a guy young enough to be Moses' son to give him a hug from the Father. The rest of the week we spent playing with kids and doing dome work on the church.  I got to spend slot of time with Moses and some others while getting supplies during the week.  Overall even though it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows it was a good time and the Lords work was done. I will never forget El Tuma Nicaragua or the people God put in my life there. I will try to post some pictures soon.

Mission trip

I will be leaving in just 3 days for El Tuma, Nicaragua,  and I am so excited to see what God is going to do there. The other day I was reading in my Bible, and came across the scripture  "whoever has a ear let them hear " and I saw a man that was deaf get healed and he heard. Just awesome!!!

Fasting and praying

I came across a note in my Bible the other day it was about fasting and praying and how it cures unbelief. As soon as I read it the HG quickened in me that to cure my unbelief in God as my provider I need to fast and pray. God is good and always answers.

It has been a while

It has been a while since I have even thought about my blog, but today as I was sitting in church God remined me of something. my very fist vision the song Spirit wind came up on the wall and it was like wow that is excatly what God had shown me a long time ago. it a song by casting crowns it talks about the valey of dry bones and how God raised them to be a mighty army once again and then goes into a church setting and shows the picture of a pastor torn because his church has become that valley so he breaks down and prays to God to breath the spirit back into his church so they can be the mighty army again. I know God has called me to do such a thing as the pastor did in the song and like Ezekiel did in the valley.

New Direction

For the first time in my life I can honestly say I have a vision of what I want to do in my life. I have seen God working in my life alot these last few months. First He has blessed my wife with the knowledge of coupons, which was hard for me to understand at first, but I get it now. We have cut or grocery bill in half and that is a praise God!!! Second I have been presented with a new job opportunity with in the bank I am currently working at. God is moving and I am on the train!!! God has shown me where to go and how to get there and how to run it. I am still praying about some of the details but He has given me a three year plan. I plan on finishing Theology school and getting my bachelors degree at Life Christian Bible Institute, which will happen in just 1 and half years. Then I plan on going on to get my masters and doctorate at Life Christian University. From there God will direct me into new and exciting things. God has also given me a new desire to see the lost saved and a new boldness to talk to them about Jesus.

I know that with God all things are possible and that I can do all things through Jesus. No mountain will stand in my way.
